For the 28th consecutive year, members of the local business and golf communities came together for the annual Kids Golf Classic tournament, benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Parkersburg. CHARLOTTE, NC – Today, United Bank, in partnership with Highwoods Properties, celebrated the grand opening of its newest regional corporate office and branch in Charlotte’s SouthPark neighborhood, anchoring the Bank to the key Charlotte Market. The new SouthPark financial center, located at Four Morrocroft, 6821 Carnegie Blvd., serves as a central business hub for United’s operations in the market, including commercial banking, commercial real estate, mortgage, digital banking, wealth management, brokerage, and corporate recruiting. This new office space will also house United’s newest credit department, which will mark the fourth in its footprint.

WILMINGTON, NC – United Bank recently named Marshall Cooper as Regional President of its southern region, encompassing parts of North and South Carolina. In the role, Cooper will direct and oversee the day-to-day banking activities, client relationships, and business development of the six markets within United’s southern region. This includes the Bank’s Wilmington and Brunswick, NC markets and all South Carolina locations, specifically, the Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, SC markets.
