To celebrate this, we recognize four extraordinary individuals who go above and beyond in exemplifying these values. The winners are part of an elite group, as recipients of United’s highest honor — the United Values Awards. Annually, one winner is selected in each of these categories:

Integrity

This award recognizes someone who does what is right for our employees, our customers, our shareholders, and our communities — 100% of the time. They exhibit trustworthiness, honesty, strong moral principles, and fairness, and inspire others with a commitment to these qualities.

Hard Work

This award recognizes an employee who demonstrates exceptional diligence, efficiency, and accuracy. They exhibit a whatever-it-takes attitude and produce high-quality work that delivers results to the company.

Teamwork

This award recognizes someone who has worked with others in an exceptional manner on a large-scale project or on a consistent basis to advance our company’s vision, mission, or our customers’ financial goals. They foster cooperation, collaboration, open communication, and the spirit of teamwork within and between departments.

Caring

This award recognizes someone who displays exemplary kindness, concern, service, and respect toward their colleagues, customers, and community. They give to others without fanfare or expectation of reward.
